Interior and Exterior Renovation Studies The Hickory House Restaurant in Fairfield Iowa contacted Prairie Architects to request help in expanding their existing restaurant and creating a new interior theme. The restaurant occupied the front half of the original Hy-Vee grocery store building and rented out the rear to another business. The owner was interested in expanding the restaurant into the entire building with the possibility of adding an exterior beer garden to the east side. Prairie Architects proposed three different schemes, each incorporating the owners wish to add a sports bar to his restaurant while incorporating different percentages of the existing building. |
