Prairie Architects, Inc. was commissioned as the Architect of Record of the renovation and alteration of the Bandshell and surrounding park grounds. The project includes the following elements: 1. Bandshell concrete repairs, restoration, and finish. 2. Bandshell interior redevelopment and finishing for use as Greenroom and Storage Functions. 3. New construction to include Greenroom and Public Toilets. 4. Mechanical and Electrical systems renovation. 5. Performance equipment for audio, video, and lighting systems. 6. Replacement of performance area seating. 7. Fill and grading of the performance field to improve sightlines. 8. Reorganization of site circulation and parking facilities. 9. Creation of a Memorial to the founders and donors who continue to support the Bandshell. You are invited to review the schematic design materials through the links above. |
